Job Title: Mental Health Technician (Psych. Tech.)
Status: Call-In (Shift: 7:00 am -3:30 pm; 3:00 pm -11:30 pm; 11:00 pm -7:30 am)

Job Summary: This member of the multidisciplinary team has a responsibility to carry out rehabilitation and support functions such as psychosocial rehabilitation programming, treatment planning, education, support, consultation to families, and provide crisis intervention under the clinical supervision of staff with professional degrees.
Minimum Education: High School Diploma
Minimum Field-of-Expertise: 1 year experience in provision of psychological, social, or counseling services in a human service delivery setting.
Preferred Experience: Work experience with adults with severe and persistent mental illness, co-morbid medical conditions, including physical disabilities.
Position: Registered Nurse (Case Management)
Status: Full-Time
Job Summary: The Community Bases Case Management (CBCM) RN shall be a member the multi-professional team responsible for conducting psychiatric and medical assessments, basic health care, education, and coordination of medical needs; coordination of appointments/referrals with community physicians, manage, and monitor psychotropic medication administration under the supervision/order of the psychiatrist. The RN shall have an active role in the provision of case management and rehabilitation Services. The RN shall work with the consumer and their support system on the management of symptoms, the development of wellness responses to co-morbid conditions, and development of CM team skills to manage complex health conditions, under the direct supervision on the Care Hawaii, CBCM Team Leader and/or CBCM Psychiatrist.
Minimum Education: Must be a Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Hawaii, Masters, Bachelors or Associate degree, and have two (2) years experience, in mental health nursing.
Minimum Field-of-Expertise: Strong clinical skills and experience demonstrating competence in problem-solving, critical thinking, collaboration, and clinical competencies in providing education and training to staff members.
Required Experience: Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in mental health; interest and knowledge of current trends and new developments in the mental health field for the adult target population. Inpatient/outpatient psychiatric nursing preferred.
Job Title: Residential Crisis Managers
Status: Call-In (Shift: 7:00 am -3:30 pm; 3:00 pm -11:30 pm; 11:00 pm -7:30 am)
Location: Hilo (LCRS)
Job Summary: This member of residential services team has a responsibility to carry out rehabilitation and support functions, and to assist in treatment and crisis intervention; also provides substance abuse services, education, support, and consultation to residents and families as needed. The resident manager facilitates the admission and discharge process for the assigned site, in collaboration with the Registered Nurse on duty, case management and/ or crisis worker.
Minimum Education: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in one of the behavioral health sciences.
Minimum Field-of-Expertise: 1 ½ years of specialized work experience required
Preferred Experience: Work experience with adults with severe mental illness
Position: Registered Nurse (Residential)
Status: Full-time
Location: Hilo (LCRS)
Job Summary: This member of the multidisciplinary team is responsible for conducting psychiatric assessments; assessing physical health needs; making and supporting appropriate referrals to community physicians and for mental health services; providing management and administration of medications in conjunction with the psychiatrist; providing a range of contracted treatment, rehabilitation, and support services; and sharing shift-management responsibility with other staff.
Minimum Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
Required Experience: Two (2) years of nursing experience
